The Fruit of Obedience 

Verse:

Luke 5: 4-6

Now when He had left speaking, He said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto Him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at Thy Word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Thoughts:

While Jesus standing by the lake, People were crowding around Jesus listening to His Word, He went into the boat of Simon and ask him to put out a little from the shore and continued teaching the people, when he was finished, He said to Simon “, "Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."

So, Simon followed ,even though they have tried it all along and they haven't got anything. With his faith and obedience and knowing who our Lord Jesus is, Simon obey our Lord`s Jesus instruction.

Luke 5:5(NIV) Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because You say so, I will let down the nets. “And so, blessing overtook his obedience and they have caught large of fish that their nets are breaking.

God is looking for a heart of faith and obedience, like what the disciple experience when they did obey His Word, they have caught large of fish on their nest and their nets are even breaking in overflow. The fruit of obedience is overflowing blessings. 

Our Obedience overtakes and overflows so much blessing that is beyond our imagination.

When we say we have  our faith and trust in God, then we make it our best to submit to obey Him & His Word.

To unlock blessings in our life and be successful in every walk of our life, the key is not only faith but faith with deeds which is Obedience walk with God.

How do we fully obey?, by yielding, meditating & follow  His word and ask God to empower, anoint us & guide us thru the Power of the  Holy Spirit. Joshua 1:8(NIV) Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Let`s aim that our life will live to be fully subject to His will and ways. In Isaiah 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land

Prayer:

Lord help me to know you more and increase my faith and guide me to obey you like what Simon did : " but because You say so, I will let down the nets.

Praying for all leaders

  When we find ourselves in our weakness, felt undervalued; God would bring forth someone to encouraged us, develop and train us to find the value and fulfill the purpose of what God intended for us to be. Thank God for the leaders/ or person who God uses to encouraged us to maximize the potential that God had given us to be used for His Glory!   Forgiveness is one of basic qualities of a Christian but at times the hardest thing to do but once you realized the depth of what God did on the cross for us to be forgiven for the graveness of our sins, who are we not to forgive ourselves and others who need our forgiveness.
