Praying in a certain place

Verse:

Luke 11:1 

 And it came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of his disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. (KJV).


Thoughts:

Prayer is our communion with God, even our Lord Jesus acknowledge the importance of prayer. We ourselves should have "our certain place" where we can deeply commune with God. Our consistent heart to heart devotion or called " Quiet Time" devotion is our certain place. 

God at times will brought us to a " certain place" for specific prayer or intercession. His Spirit will lead us to pray and that we ought to pray for.  

May we always prioritize to dwell in His Presence as to wherever certain place we are in. and Wherever we are, we can communicate with Him, as we commune with Him,  He Listen and hears us. 

As the song goes: (Glory come down)

"Let Your glory and honor, Fall on our face, Holy Father, Rest in this place"


The disciple as well have witnessed the prayerfulness of Jesus that’s why they ask Him " Lord teach us how to pray"

Like Jesus may we devote ourselves to pray and like His disciples, may we humbly acknowledge Him in our life and have the eagerness to have a Christ-likeness and a teachable Spirit.


Prayer:

Lord, teach us how to pray, thank you Lord for guiding us and reminding us to communicate with You daily, increase our faith to carry us through in this life. In Jesus, Name, Amen!

Praying for all leaders

  When we find ourselves in our weakness, felt undervalued; God would bring forth someone to encouraged us, develop and train us to find the value and fulfill the purpose of what God intended for us to be. Thank God for the leaders/ or person who God uses to encouraged us to maximize the potential that God had given us to be used for His Glory! In John Maxwell daily devotional Book he wrote that according to Scripture every person in the body of Christ has both value and purpose, and leaders help Them to direct, encouraged, train them to fulfill God given destinies.   Forgiveness is one of basic qualities of a Christian but at times the hardest thing to do but once you realized the depth of what God did on the cross for us to be forgiven for the graveness of our sins, who are we not to forgive ourselves and others who need our forgiveness. Matthew 6:12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
